Painting Yummy Food
This beautiful plate is the creation of Halima Washington. Halima is an artist who lives in Atlanta, Georgia and paints with a combination of a palette knife and a brush. She "loves using the impasto technique because she wants the viewer to be aware of the paint and her passion for it and wants people to see everyday ordinary objects and surroundings as extraordinary". Halima has a beautiful blog SMALL WORKS that is full of her magnificent pieces of work. I heart ham sammie
Love this Picture at Judy's Notebook Flickr Photostream. Love It! Judy has an absolutely adorable blog at Judy's Bento Box. She lives in California and comes up with the cutest little lunches ever! Okay, so I didn't know about these little Bento lunches. Wikipedia says that Bento's are "a single-portion takeout or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine". It goes on to explain that they even have contests for the "most aesthetically pleasing arrangements." Judy sure has some winners on her blog, where she also has a link to check out adorable Bento boxes. Oh the Fun :-) Be sure to check it out, You'll be glad you did~
